Tidy Books wins Right Start’s Best Toy Award 2013

Tidy Books has scooped a Right Start Award for its Children’s Bookcase this year, in the Best Toy Category.

Tidy Books’ Children’s Bookcase has an innovative design which displays books to children with the front covers facing outwards, making it easy for young children and pre-readers to see, choose and enjoy their books independently.

Right Start will announce the specific Gold, Silver, Bronze and commended winners of its Best Toy Award on 3rd October 2013, and all the winners will be featured in the Right Start Best Toy Guide which will go to parents in November.

“I’m delighted that the Right Start judges have shortlisted the Tidy Books Children’s Bookcase as a winner – they are experts in early years toys, and know what parents are looking for, for their children,” said Geraldine Grandidier, CEO Tidy Books

Geraldine Grandidier created the first Tidy Books Bookcase for her daughter in her violin workshop in 2004. She has added more children’s storage ideas to the Tidy Books range, which made from sustainable wood and finished in an eco-friendly water lacquer.

Tidy Books has won many other awards for its children’s bookcases, book boxes and bunk bed shelves, including Mother and Baby Award, Junior Design Award and Right Start Gold and Silver Awards.
