Eco-Friendly Finish	Finished in safe water lacquer which has low VOCs and is virtually odourless. It’s better for the planet, the producers and your family. Please note that the nature of water lacquer means that the letters' colours, may fade or darken over time, depending on exposure to sunlight.
Handmade Finish	Our designs are handmade and finished with water lacquer. We could have coated the wood with a thick, solvent based acrylic, but we made an ethical choice. Water lacquer is a safe,eco-friendly finish that shows the natural imperfections and grain patterns in the wood. It means your product will have a natural look in style and finish, with the charm of a handmade product.

The Story

Your first library should have your name on it! After all, it's the beginning of the whole world opening up to you. Where you will go and who you will meet in your first books? Everything I make is designed to be fun and enjoyable for children, to draw them in and foster their sense of independence. I noticed that in most living rooms there's a box with a few favourite books. Kids can’t see the covers, so usually drag them all out. I created the Personalised Tidy Books Box because I wanted something that would work for the whole family; books of any shape and size, magazines etc. Kids love these next to their bed as well. I make sure all my designs are stripped back to keep them looking stylish so they blend easily into a home. It’s about creating a timeless classic that can be passed down through the generations. My designs give kids the freedom to discover their world by themselves- because kids really do know best.

Delivery

Delivery via DPD usually within 10 working days. You will receive a text when your order is on its way.
UK Delivery charge £6. EU delivery typically 15 Euros. Worldwide delivery - see charge at checkout.
Brexit customs information for deliveries to Europe & Northern Ireland: You will NOT be charged customs clearance and your order will arrive as usual. Tidy Books have set up an account to cover the custom charges and customs clearance. If you have any problems please get in touch straight away. Email info@tidy-books.com or call 00 44 (0)20 85204647. This process is working well and customers are receiving orders as they did pre Brexit.

Cute and functional book box

Excellent quality

Sturdy and so practical, my baby loves this so much as he can see his books to pick them out and plays with the clock. It is worth the money as it fits so many books and is portable.

Lovely box, could be improved

This is a solid and beautiful product. I was disappointed to find out that there are no risers of any kind, meaning that the front and back compartments are the same height and books at the back cannot be seen unless they are taller. I suggested that this feature be added as an option, and the company were receptive to this idea but I don't know if any plans are in the works to implement it. Simple blocks of wood that are the correct size that could be dropped in would do the trick and would make this product a lot more versatile / useful for certain purposes.
