TIDY BOOKS SEEKS CROWDFUNDING SHAREHOLDERS TO FUND INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION
Tidy Books, independent UK Company is seeking funding to push international expansion via equity crowdfunding platform, Crowdcube.
Tidy Books is using the equity crowdfunding model as it offers one of the most effective routes of finance for small business expansion. Tidy Books is able to exploit a gap in the market for children’s products that work for kids, and wants to grasp the opportunity to push market penetration around the world.
CEO Geraldine Grandidier spotted a gap in the market when she was looking for a bookcase for her daughter. Her innovation; a child’s front facing bookcase that was suitable for the home market, has won her many awards, and is stocked in retailers such as John Lewis and Amazon.
“We want to put a Tidy Books bookcase in every child’s bedroom, and become a global brand, while still retaining our responsible and environmentally friendly way of doing business. Crowdcube gives us the platform to connect with investors who want to support smaller companies doing great things and get the chance to earn decent returns.” Geraldine Grandidier, CEO & Founder Tidy Books.
Tidy Books is looking to raise £75,000 via Crowdcube and the share offer goes live on today. The company has invested profits to create solid foundations for future expansion, and is ready to push its range of kid’s storage products that are scalable to mass production.
